The importance of CMR | |
Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (CMR) is increasingly used in daily clinical practice worldwide. However, little is known about clinical utility of CMR such as image quality, safety and impact on patient management and prognosis. From 2007, the European Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (EuroCMR) Registry was initiated to evaluate indications, image quality, safety, and impact on patient management of routine CMR and has provided information about the clinical utility of routine CMR in a large number of cases and a diverse population in Europe. However, frequency of cardiac disease and health care systems are vastly different between Asian and European countries. Therefore, it is important to perform the registry study and evaluate the clinical utility of routine CMR in large number of multi-national Asian population. |

AsiaCMR Registry is endorsed by EuroCMR Registry Steering Committee during 2013 EuroCMR meeting in Florence and is designed to be fully compatible with EuroCMR Registry. |
